What a wonderful season this has been.  I haven't had any problems with aphids this year - can't say the same for weeds!

This week Quiltjude and I lost our sister to cancer.  There are no words to explain such a sadness.
Today I just had to stay home and sleep.

What to make with lemons?

I'd welcome some ideas.

I'm thinking a nice pie and some lemon butter.

Yummy nectarines

I hope you like this recipe:

Cut nectarines in half removing stones
Bake very slowly 1 - 1/2 hrs

Whip 300 mls cream then fold in a small natural tub of yoghurt, place  in a dish and sprinkle 3/4 cup brown sugar on top then refrigerate.

After a couple of hrs the sugar is like syrup.

Serve over the nectarines making sure the syrup is on each serving - so delicious

More shack renovations

A lovely surprise  to find such beautiful timber under many layers of paint.  The doors will look stunning against the chalky white walls.
